In ancient times, the ear candling procedure was called as ‘coning’ where a cone-shaped instrument made from pottery was used. In this process, the smoke and heated air would be blown in to the ear to draw out the impurities in the ear. Modern times have elevated this process and the equipments use for this therapy. Aromatic candles are used in this process to remove accumulated wax and dirt inside the ear which helps in blood circulation. The massage around the ear further helps in releasing toxins.
