Della Group and our CMD Jimmy Mistry have always believed in giving back to the society. With this initiative, we join hands with various communities across the globe to restore, repair and rebuild our planet. Despite the importance of India's diverse forests for ecosystem services, wildlife and the livelihoods of millions of people, forests have been severely depleted across the country. The massive economic development in the last decade has seen a rise in industrial projects, at the expense of forests and forest land. According to government data, 14,000 square kilometres of forests were cleared to make way for thousands of industrial projects over the past 30 years. Today less than a quarter of the countries' geographic area is under forest cover. India's forest cover is slowly rebounding and we need to accelerate this growth in order to save our planet. At Della, we are doing our part, but we can't do it without you.
